Events at Blackwater Farm

Below is a list of the upcoming events at Blackwater Farm. Please click an event for more information and for event entry.

This season we are proud to be hosting the Great Witchingham Unaffiliated Horse Trials League 2026

The points will be issued to a horse and rider combination at each qualifying event. Points are for a horse and rider combination in a given class/height, not for the rider or horse individually. Points cannot be transferred to a different class height.

BLACKWATER’S 2026 FLU VAC POLICY

All visiting horses must be flu vaccinated and there wil be no access to our yard for visiting horses. Any stricter governing body requirements must be followed where applicable ( ie 6 monthly for our BE event, and all BE eventers ) but our default position where that does not apply is that all horses must have been be flu vaccinated within the previous 12 months for routine annual vacs or both primary vacs for newly vaccinated horses or horses re starting.
RANDOM PASSPORT CHECKS WILL BE CARRIED OUT.

EHV
Given the EHV outbreak in Europe, sadly now also in the UK, horses may not come on site from any yard with signs of illness or any at risk yards who have had horses arrive from abroad. British Eventing have useful guidance on their website.
